Tomorrow: Star Trek Outfits

The Wall Street Journal Law Blog on a jury consumed by fashion statements:

On Tuesday, jurors dressed up for Independence Day eve. Row one wore red; row two wore white; and row three wore blue. Last Friday all the women wore pink and the men blue. A week ago, every juror except one wore black — though no one is sure why.

This is in a criminal case, not some pie-eating contest at a state fair.

I hope they are paying as much attention to the evidence as they are to their clothes.
