Parade Harassment?

Four San Diego firefighters allege they were harassed by being required to attend a Gay Pride Parade.

The Workplace Law Profs Blog has the details.

Interesting. I am surprised that parade involvement isn't on a volunteer basis. I guess if these guys were called in to help people during the parade, they could have very well suffered the same lewd behaivor, so if they were forced to participate as part of their job, they should just suggest that this is not a function this city should take part in due to the overtly sexual nature of the parade (based on their descriptions).

Matt,

It is certainly not your standard harassment case!
