Very rarely will you find an organization that:
- Communicates too much.
- Consults with its attorneys too much.
- Motivates too much.
- Avoids mission creep.
- Adequately rewards exceptional performers.
- Is not afflicted by gossip and office politics.
- Has a decent performance evaluation system
- Does not suffer from fatigue and distraction.
- Avoids procrastinating on difficult decisions.
- Gives sufficient clout to HR.
- Knows how to handle mavericks.
- Has thoroughly productive staff meetings.
- Devotes proper attention to hiring decisions.
- Continues to tap into the knowledge of its retirees.
