Back to Reality

Part of this afternoon involved a trip to north Scottsdale, past the Mercedes, Ferrari, Lexus, and Porsche dealerships, a neighborhood where traffic slows because people are reading vanity plates, to a charming mall which has an Orvis store where I wanted to check out jackets and after that, a large Barnes & Noble where my wife examined the math books and I bought a book on leadership and then it was back to the house where I had to mow the lawn but had forgotten that it's getting darker much sooner and so I almost matched an old neighbor's record of mowing a lawn late at night but I finished and then wondered if there is a market for lawn mowers with headlights.

Very little of this was planned.
