The careful study of ancient history is good preparation for deciphering the modern world. The nanny state is really a bully state. Progress on a project often requires a fair amount of neglect. People like ducks but it is a rare person who does not admire a hawk. "Less" may be a commendable conclusion but I'm not sure if it is a wise initial goal. The world of show business would be improved by an epidemic of humility. Our current times may eventually be known as the Era of Mediocrity. The cure for many problems requires going to bed early. The worst leaders are often humorless. Take time to study your habits because that may be the most valuable "course" in your life.
