E-Mail Vibrations

You e-mail a copy of a proposed course of action to four of your co-workers to get their response. 

The first to respond e-mails: "Fine."

The second e-mails: "This should do the trick but what about the timing?"

The third one e-mails: "Can we talk about this?"

The final one e-mails: "I really like the part on community relations. Mentioning precedent puts matters into a much more positive light. The part on recruitment will probably need clarification or the HR people may worry that it is going around procedures. What do you think?"

What you don't know is that each one really likes the proposal. 

Your reaction to each message, however, may vary considerably. E-mail has vibrations.
