Up early. Still dark outside. Got the newspapers. Hung the flag on our front porch. Scanned the headlines. Saw the world is still crazy. Made coffee. Fired up the computer. A citation which the French gave to my great-uncle in the First World War is on the wall to my right.
The world has a habit of not going away.
