Stroup: The Fox

Jim Stroup continues his fox and hedgehog comparison. This time, he considers the fox:

For the business hedgehog, consumed with a single, large purpose, the whole exercise may simply be viewed as an irrelevant, wasteful distraction. The fox, on the other hand, might be driven by it into a frenzied scrambling after so many newly perceived opportunities that it fails to follow through to attainment of any of them.
