No Television Update
Comparing August 3, when I stopped watching television, to September 3.
My general attitude is improved. There is more time for family, exercise, and reading.
Life is more civilized.

I like this idea. There is really very little that television adds to our lives. Most of what is on is really garbage. This has been true from almost the beginning and the few redeeming items - important news and event coverage - are now available elsewhere.
I've found that television takes away far more than it contributes. Prolonged exposure to TV can make one less informed because it gobbles up time that could be better spent.
