I never thought I'd say this, but the idea of an artificial Christmas tree is beginning to look better and better to me.
No hassle. Little worry of it burning the house down. No disposal problems. And I can take a blowtorch to the tree stands that never quite lived up to their hype.

I gave up on real trees the year when I brought in not only the tree, but an infestation of still unidentified bugs to boot. I looked at myself in the mirror and asked was it worth it? It was not. Artifical trees are great, Michael. Good luck.

Bugs? You've sold me. When what should be fun turns more into a hassle, going artificial has a real appeal.
