This morning, I'm writing two objects of prior procrastination on a note card; tasks that could be accomplished this week and which, if done, would be important achievements.
The card will remain with me throughout the week as a reminder of what should be my priorities. I'll put a mark on it whenever I catch myself doing something that is off-target.
I'll let you know how it works at the end of the week. Sometimes, the simplest tools are the best.

how'd that experiment work? i'm trying something similar, but on a weekly basis. writing five things that must be done in a given week. i am hoping it'll bring focus and relieve stress.

Fran,
So far, it's working. It is sort of a magnet that keeps drawing me back to the items that have a history of being pushed to the back.

mine's mostly working. i posted my five things on the wall right in front of my face. i can't ignore them, even if i'd like to. but i only got three done...
Fran,
Mine is too. I've made substantial progress on one and by Sunday evening will be in very good shape on the other, but then I only put down two items. This is far more progress than I've made in months.
Keep me posted!
Michael
