Quote of the Day

The attempt to appropriate the moral qualities of genuine victims for the aggrandisement of less deserving groups poses no moral or political dilemma for those who refuse to recognize the legitimacy of the real victims. The challenge of the politics of victimization is to those who do care about genuine victims and who recognize that victimization reaps its advantage at the direct expense of those most deserving of compassion and support. If everyone is a victim, then no one is.
