Call It a Virtue

Faults are unbecoming so let's call them virtues.

Let Indecision masquerade as Analysis.

Brashness can become Bravery.

Slipperiness can pose as Eloquence.

Weakness can hide behind Deliberate.

Rudeness can shout it is Honesty.

Crudeness loves being Uninhibited.

Opportunistic quickly picks Pragmatic.

Unprincipled will embrace Flexible.

This is probably a good way to determine likely faults a candidate has. Ask them about their best attributes and take them to the extreme.

Lord,

Good point. I use that technique when coaching executives and managers. In many cases, their problem is hidden within a virtue.
