Moving the Ocean Liner

Just as tugs slowly move an ocean liner so it can eventually head out to sea, we often nudge projects and people until they are ocean-worthy.

This requires time and patience. The knowledge of how and where the process should end can generate frustration unless the participants accept the importance and necessity of each step, each moment, of the process.

So instead of ordering and expecting instant results, we nudge. By doing so, we retain the ability to make timely corrections. Our emotional high is not reserved entirely for the end.

We have learned to appreciate the beauty of the process.
