Michael, What's interesting for me is how these stainless steel car lasted since and the majority of our domestic stainless steel producing companies have not. The manufacturer I work for buys and uses a lot of stainless steel. We are down to TWO American owned companies producing stainless steel in the States and the word on the street is that one of them, Allegheny, may be sold to a foreign company by next year.
A sad state of affairs for our manufacturing base, an issue that's been glossed over by both presidential candidates.
